My First Pet
A pet for me,
how glorious that would be.
Maybe a furry mouse,
but then I'd have to find it a spouse.
How about a ginger cat,
wearing a shiny black hat.
A little dog would be nice,
I just hope he doesn't swallow my dice.
Wait, I think a bird would be great,
I"ll rush to the store and buy it a crate.
Oh, what good fun it will be,
I think I'll call him "Lucky".
Here is another poem that I wrote. I wrote it while visiting the beach.
A visit to the sea
A day at the beach is very sincere,
and all of your sadness will disappear.
Watch the waves wash away,
all your sorrows of the day.
Stroll the beach to find cockell shells,
and shells shaped just like bells.
Feel the sand between your toes,
watch the ships sail by and pose.
Hear the sea birds whistle and caress,
now you are freed from all distress.
